Piedmont Propulsion Systems Expands Helicopter Rotor Blade Capability to Add Sikorsky S-76 Main Rotor Blade for FAA and EASA Release
Winston-Salem, NC, January 13, 2022 – Piedmont Propulsion Systems, LLC (“PPS”), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc., announced today that it has received FAA and EASA certification for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the Sikorsky S-76 Main Rotor Blade.
This addition compliments PPS’s growth in the rotor blade market in partnership with sister company Aviation Blade Services Inc. PPS also holds approval for the Sikorsky UH-60/S-70 Main Rotor Blade, Hub, Bifilar, Extension Shaft.
